I am Andaluza, especially since I ventured out to sea

ANDALUZA

Andaluza is a journey: the journey of all those who have set out on unknown paths to realize that there are no shortcuts – everything ends where it began. It means leaving behind what is safe and entering a place from which one cannot return unscathed. And it means knowing this and embracing it.Andaluza is the ability to live in contradictions and smell salt everywhere.

The murmur of the Cadiz market, love  in a July, an accent with Z. Andaluza is pulpo and churros with chocolate, giving it your all and even laughing at your own shadows. It is the one who expects nothing but  does not despair. The strength of the one who always opens a door, the hand that does not squeeze, the opinion that does not impose itself, and the voice of a father who sings. The  urgency to leave so that you can return, the anger that is crushing, and the  fire that you have to cross.

A cry, a howl, a gesture of  tenderness. It is the navigation between old and new, emigrating and uprooting, trying to adapt and ultimately dissolving. It’s finding love and losing your temper. Andaluza means reconciling with the inner child and standing up as a woman.
